• Music Teacher and Choral Director in an Independent Performing Arts School for 13 years

• Staged and directed up to four musicals and operettas and 2 major choral concerts per year involving the entire school (Kindergarten - Grade 8)

• Coordinated a team of teachers working in choreography, sound design, lighting design, stage design, costume design, set design, and stage management.

• Taught weekly individual voice lessons to 30-40 children in bel canto singing technique. 

• Directed the school chorus in performing at Davies Symphony Hall (San Francisco), four times at Carnegie Hall (NY); at Canterbury Cathedral and Westminster Abbey (UK), at the Sherbourne Festival (UK);  and in winning the Outstanding Choir Award in competition with the Heritage Music Festivals (Washington DC) and the top scoring Middle School Choir at the international Festival of Gold (San Francisco).
